In the Wild with Greg Wagner

PRODUCTIVE MORNING: TWO TURKEYS, ONE SHOT by Greg Wagner

This morning was quite productive for old Greggy Wagner with his trusted Remington shotgun. I shot two nice, big tom turkeys in Washington County, with one shot (intentionally), on my first journey into the hills and woods, woo-hoo! Here’s a quick pic.

I saw sooo many birds. Time to buy another permit and get back out there. Are you turkey hunting this fall? You should be! Bird numbers appear to be at record high levels! Maybe you could combine a turkey hunt with another hunt (deer, upland game, waterfowl, etc.)  Because, the chances of seeing turkeys in a variety of habitats is great! These truly are the best of times for wild turkey hunting in Nebraska, aren’t they? Here’s where you and I go to purchase a fall wild turkey hunting permit online: https://ngpc-permits.ne.gov/NGPC-PS/faces/public/welcome

See you out there!
