CONSERVATION OFFICER REMINDERS ABOUT FLOODED AREAS by Greg Wagner

Regarding flooded areas, conservation officers want to remind you that it is illegal to shoot fish from public roadways with bow and arrows. They also want to strongly encourage you to respect signs/barricades and stay out of flood damaged areas for obvious safety reasons. For example, signs and barricades have been put in place in flood damaged areas along the Platte River at the Two Rivers State Recreation Area near Waterloo (see photos below)! See you out there, always heeding posted signs and barricades for safety!
