In the Wild with Greg Wagner

Our conservation officers want me to remind all of you to stay out of flooded areas along rivers and creeks here in Nebraska.

Flood waters are NOT the place you want to be. This is NOT the time to wade, swim or get out your raft, canoe or kayak and play in the water. It’s dirty, filled with debris and very dangerous. These flooded areas are also subject to uneven depths and strong currents!

These photos of inundated fields were taken north of Valley near Rawhide Creek (Elkhorn River tributary) just south of Hwy. 36. The photos are courtesy of my good friend Robert Koop. Thanks Bob, glad you and Vickie are okay!

See you out there, staying out of and away from flooded areas!
