As the ice fishing season arrives in Nebraska, ice anglers need to always remember the 4-6-8 rule. Four inches of good, solid, clear lake ice will support one angler, six inches of that ice will support several anglers and eight inches of it will hold a snowmobile. Don’t forget the 4-6-8 rule!
